PASTORAL
The mission of the Pastoral Ministry is to
continuously provide structure to a progressive ministry while working
alongside the leadership and membership to promote the spiritual purposes of
God's kingdom through preaching, teaching, leading, and overseeing.
3BI CHURCH SCHOOL/LIFE DEVELOPMENT
The mission of New Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church
ministry is to reach, teach/train and develop methods of communicating the
essential elements of the Christian faith in ways that speak to life in this
new millennium.
FOCUS MINISTRY

The mission of New Pilgrim Rest is to build a
community that empowers residents of the West-Dallas Community area by
developing and utilizing existing community assets for their livelihood and
well-being.
MUSIC MINISTRY
The mission of the Music Ministry of New Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist
Church is to be an inspirational, uplifting conduit leading the people to a
true worship and praise experience with God in each and every worship
service.
MARRIAGE ENRICHMENT
The mission of the New Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church Relationship
Ministry is to encourage and to enrich married / engaged couples for the
purpose of improving their relationship with God and with each other.
CHILDREN
The Children’s Ministry accepts the challenge of
providing the most enjoyable experience possible (in a safe and stimulating
spiritual environment) for the children (and guests) who attend New Pilgrim
Rest Missionary Church.
NEW MEMBER TRAINING
The mission of the New Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church New Member
Orientation is to ensure that every new member feels welcome, equipped, and
free to become an integral part of the church.
DEACONS MINISTRY
The mission of the Deacons’ Ministry is to care for, service the needs of,
and minister to the family groups of New Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist
Church.

PRAYER MINISTRY
The mission of the New Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church Prayer
Ministry is to encourage and equip members to be empowered to pray. The
prayer ministry will be responsible for implementing at least two prayer
seminars a year. There will be a Church Wide Round the Clock Prayer Renewal
during starting in the month of March. Every member will be asked to pray
at least 15 minutes of specific request provided by the Prayer Ministry
Team.
CHRISTIAN EDUCATION
The mission of the ministry of Christian education at
New Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church is to teach sound Biblical
principles to the Body of Christ and develop disciples for the Kingdom of
God.
WOMEN MINISTRY
The mission of the New Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist
Church Women’s Ministry is to enhance the spiritual development of a diverse
group of women by sponsoring programs that will allow women to live
God-centered lives. Our Women Ministry meets 7:30 AM on the last Saturday of
every month at the Hilton Garden Inn hotel located at 800 North Main in
Duncanville, TX.
MOVER (Men
of Vision Evangelizing Regardless) MINISTRY
The purpose of the Men of Vision Ministry is to help men keep
their covenant with God; inspire men to become spiritual leaders and
effective role models in the church, their homes, the community and all
walks of life; and, to provide a Christian support system for men facing
critical situations. This group also sponsors the Men’s: Passion, Power,
and Promise Conference in October. The Conference will include men from
other churches and the local community in a time of learning and
discussion. We develop each other through covenant relationships of
accountability, affirmation, and acceptance. The developmental process
produces men that are healthier emotionally, spiritually, and physically.
Each man is developed into a Blessed Brother, Holy Husband,
and Faithful Father. Our MOVER MINISTRY meets 7:30 AM on the
last Saturday of every month at the Hilton Garden Inn hotel located at 800
North Main in Duncanville, TX.
FOUNDATIONAL SCRIPTURE

he may sift you as wheat. But I have prayed for you; that your faith shall
not fail; and when you have returned to me, strengthen your brethren."
Calling all Men...
Men's Ministry is open to all men of New Pilgrim Rest Missionary
Baptist Church. Moreover, the Ministry invites and seeks fellowship with men
near and far who are establishing and/or strengthening their walk with our
Lord, Jesus Christ, without regard to affiliations.
Proverbs 27:17 says ”As
iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend."
The Men of Vision meet on the last Saturday of each month @7:30am.
SCHOLARSHIP SERVICES
The mission of the E.X.C.E.L (Excellence in Cultural, Education and
Leadership) Youth Scholarship Program is to promote educational excellence,
assist with scholarships, and encourage youth to extend their education in
accredited educational institutions/other formal training.
USHERS
The mission of the New Pilgrim Rest Missionary
Baptist Church Ushers Ministry is to extend a loving, courteous welcome to
members and visitors while preserving the reverence, dignity and order of
the worship service.
MEDIA RELATIONS
The mission of the New Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church Media Ministry
is to provide the best technology in order to amplify and visually enhance
the message of God given through the Word and the Music and to distribute
the Gospel Message through quality the latest and most up to date
technological means.
HOSPITALITY MINISTRY
The mission of the New Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church Hospitality
Ministry is to greet and welcome visitors to worship and praise God with us;
to show appreciation to visitors offering them their morning programs and
visitor packages. They should also offer them a complimentary Cd or Cassette
Tape.
MONTHLY BIRTHDAY FELLOWSHIP
The mission of the Birthday Fellowship Ministry
is to increase Christian fellowship among baptized believers, increase our
understanding of each other, encourage each other on a personal level and
foster Christian growth through fellowship and sharing of joy of others
special day. (Acts 2:42).
FINANCE MINISTRY
The mission of the New Pilgrim Rest Missionary
Church Finance Ministry is to ensure New Pilgrim Rest is a responsible
steward of the financial resources entrusted to her care.
YOUTH MINISTRY
The mission of New Pilgrim Rest
Missionary Baptist Church Youth Ministry is to develop Holy Youth
Practicing Excellence via H.Y.P.E. tactics by loving the Lord, by
being rooted & grounded in the Word of God, by emulating Christ and by
emanating God’s glory. (Matthew 5:14-16).
YOUNG ADULTS
The mission of New Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church Young Adults
Ministry (IMAGE) is to connect, show
concern, encourage and enrich those who are experiencing life-transitional
phases, and glorify God through service.
NURSERY
The mission of the New Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church Nursery
Ministry is to introduce our little ones to God with basic principles,
one-on-one interaction, and by sharing in God's love.
HEALTHCARE
The mission of the New Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church Health Care
Ministry is to promote optimum health to our members.
STRATEGIC PLANNING & FUTURE DEVELOPMENT
The mission of the New Pilgrim Rest Missionary
Baptist Church Strategic Planning Ministry is to provide support to the
pastor to ensure the ministries of the Church are consistent with the
Church's mission and vision.
FAMILIES
The mission of New Pilgrim Rest Missionary Church
Family Ministry is to meet the needs of families from a Biblical viewpoint
by enriching and encouraging the home in order to build a more productive
witness for Christ.
MEMBER CARE
The mission of the New Pilgrim Rest Missionary Church Member Care Ministry
is to individualize the love we share at New Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist
Church and make all members feel welcome and wanted.

VACATION BIBLE EXPERIENCE
The mission of the Vacation Bible Experience
(3BIVBE) is to help people in the church/community learn, teach and reach
out with the Good News of the gospel through challenging, vital and exciting
Bible experiences.
SINGLES MINISTRY
The mission of the New Pilgrim Rest Missionary
Baptist Church Singles Ministry is to be a ministry which nurtures, develops
and directs the Christian single toward being complete, unique, and whole
for the edification of New Pilgrim Rest Missionary Church and the perfecting
of the Body of Jesus Christ.
OUTREACH
The mission of the New Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist
Church Outreach Ministry is to assist the Pastor in reaching, witnessing to,
and discipling the unsaved and the unchurched, and to increase the
discipleship of members through seminars and community outreach programs.
TRUSTEES
The mission of the Trustee Ministry is to provide leadership and oversight
for the business transactions of the church.
